Mark's Goodie #2: FREE Coast Guard Kit
Mark's Marine supplies a free Coast Guard Kit with every new Boat. These kits include Life Vests, Buoys, Dock Line, Fire Extinguisher, and a Throw Cushion.
The only item not included in the kit required to make your boat Coast Guard Legal is a noise making device. Nearly all boats sold here at Mark's Marine come with a built in
horn, which exceeds the coast guard requirements for a noise making device. We do however sell whistles and horns here at the store should your boat not have one.
Small Kit (pn: 36-9038):
- (4) Type II life vests in a convienent storage case.
- (1) Type IV Personal floatation device.
- (2) G3 Fenders (3.5"x20").
- (2) 3/8"x15' Pre-spliced Gold Braid Dock Lines.

The only diffrence between the two kit sizes is the size of the fenders in the kit. Mark's Marine selects the apropriate kit
depending on the size and weight of the boat. In general boats 22' or larger receive the Large Kit, and boats smaller than 22' receive the small kit. Other than the
fenders, the rest of the items are the same.
