2010 Banks Lake Tournament Report by Brad Broadwell
The Mark's Marine Pro Staff teams fished from mid week to Friday prior to the tournament in order to mark out where to find the big walleye.
The fish were moving from one location to another. Early in the week the fish were deep around 40ft. to 50ft. By tournament time the fish had moved into a water depth around 20ft. to 35ft.
On Saturday the wind was mild and tempter was in the upper 60’s to lower 70’s. Sunday was a lot different. The wind kicked up to around 35+ and waves were around 4ft+.
The final weigh in gave Rick Sutherland and Tom Morrow the lead with a total of 29.56 lbs to win the Banks Lake Walleye Tournament. They had 2.9 lbs over the second place fisherman Dave Harrell and Charles Row Jr.
This tournament had 100 boats fishing for the big walleye.
Congrats to Rick Sutherland and Tom Morrow on their 1st place finish!
